An interesing thing that happened to me today- third CA assignment
Today has been a great day for me. Everything looked perfect since i entered the class. I had high hopes of doing good for my tests. It was not to be dashed. For my maths, I got full marks. Yeah! Told my father about it. And boy, was he proud. I'll try to do my best in everything I do. Anyway, coming back to the point, during Design and Technology class, Mr Quek, the subject teacher, taught us a new topic. I tried to concentrate and listen attentively but the two idiots opposite me kept talking and talking and talking. Their conversation never seemed to end. Just in case you were wondering why I got so frustrated ,the main reason is because not only were they not listening to the teacher, they were talking about racist jokes! Thus, when the teacher asked us to show him what we had done, they would panic and start asking us what had just happened, giving thoughtless excuses like "He was the one distracting me, that's why I could not pay attention." Or "Sir, you didn't even say we had to copy down." After hearing that, I felt like punching their faces. They were not even listening! I found them extremely irritating and annoying. I felt that they have totally no respect for the teachers or for the students. Reflecting, I wonder what would happen if all the students carried the same attitude. Honestly, I try hard not to think about it. I would not reveal who the two idiots were to protect their identity and image of a true, blue Victorian.
After the lesson, it was PE theory. It was quickly falling asleep as I blanked out my mind while Ms Sheika rambled on. All of a sudden, the fire alarm broke out. All hell went loose.(just joking) We were all laughing and joking about the fire drill. It seemed of little importance to us Singaporeans. We proceeded in an orderly fashion to the school field. At that time, the sun was burning and I was literally "burnt". We were left there for twenty whole minutes. The principal met us shortly, and without saying a word, strolled off. One boy exclaimed " What kind of principal is this? One for all, all for one! This is so stinking hot and you leave us here to suffer? What kind of attitude is this?" After digesting the information, I realized he pretty much spoke my mind. Well, we were released soon after and like all typical boys, we rushed back to our classes eager for the end of school.
Life is good.
